eccles Posted October 28, 2015 Report Share Posted October 28, 2015 Dropped lucky again for some crow shooting. Called on my mate Huw Monday morning on 1 of his new farms for a cuppa and chat. Thanked me for shooting crows fri on 1 of his other farms pic below. After i'd left him i went for a spin round other farms in that area. Notice a good few crows on some drill 2 farms away from Huw's. After i got home sent message to his mrs on FB asking if they knew farmer who owned land. She said yes why said i'd seen crows she said her son is best mates with that farms son. Will tell him to sort it out for you. This morning friends request form son on FB message no prob shoot whenever you like. Message off my lad just now he's just started to build house for a farmer 1/2 hour away.. Do you want any more crow shooting farmer said he'd banned all local a few years ago. Locals not behaving broken fences shooting everything that moves etc. Go to see him said he's got 4 farms for you, he'd heard about you from other farmers that you shoot for in market. Cheers Mate Iv'e picked up loads of shooting over 40 years and never had to knock on any farmers doors. But i'm lucky all our family + friends are farmers so get lot of permissions. In 2012 my wife and I spent a fair bit of time up near you, climbing Cadair Idris...13 times in about 10 weeks.
