is there issues on low power on the rm8 .22,finaly bought one I don't have a chrony but on the point blank argos test, bet you'e all done it haha, out of my three rifes 1st HW80 second Theoben evolution third rotex all in .22, a bit disappointed, considering the 80's 22yrs old and the theoben's 15yrs old both untouched from new

Yes there is a problem with some of them being underpowered due to being set for what the regulations are in Germany. You can send it back to Amex in Birmingham through your RFD and they will remove the anti-tamper and set it to around 11.6 ft/lb. I had the same problem with mine but took it to Armex myself. It was done and dusted within an hour and has been as sweet as a nut since.

I would certainly chrono them all as you might find the hw80 is overpowered, they have a tendency to creep over the limit, mine did to my horror,

 

my mates rotex shot 11.5ftlb from new and also .22,

 

certainly a different way to test ftlb/power with an argos book, don't think the police would accept that test bud,

 

to be 100% certain then chrono it

Holy ****. that's serious penetration. I heard someone saying a slug would go through a car door and then through a human thigh.......................not my ex's thigh, you'd need a Howitzer just to get past the subcutaneous fat.
