Has anyone ever off loaded their guns to an RDF & did you get a fair price or ripped off?

Abit like the motor trade, a dealer (rfd) will give you less than second hand value as they need to make money on them aswell. I've only done it once, never again worth holding on and selling private unless you need rid asap.

I usually have put them into our local shop on commission and have done very well, often exceeding my expectations.. As a former Secretary of what used to be a big club I have sent a lot of people along to do the same inluding relatives of several members who have died. To be fair to him the shop owner has never taken advantage.

The only problem is the wait, it can be months, even years before they sell
