Last week I saw next to no pheasants. This Friday I go out with a rifle and see loads of pheasants :hmm:

Oh well I had a grand walk, cooler air and a little sun now and then.

After a calling session for a fox I ended up with what sounded like 50,000 crows, magpies and jackies just above me! Convinced no fox was coming I lined up a safe shot and dropped a crow. Always a pleasure!

Eventually a nice 60yard head shot turned up of a grand looking table bird.

We bumped into a sheltering hare next, I thought I got better photos of it than I did!

Popped home for a quick bite and grabbed the husher, the weather worsened and only managed a woodie, a jackdaw and crow.

Jess is not to inpressed with crows! But did help to find the jackdaw.

Well done U, sounds like another enjoyable outing. I managed to get out for a brief outing on the crows yesterday (not worthy of pics as only 21 down). I was amazed when a heron flew through an open gateway to my right and landed in the middle of the pattern (not enough time to get a pic). Quick look and off it went.

Keep up the good work mate.
