With some of the inertia operated guns, their ability to handle light loads for which they are not designed can be something of a lottery.

Mine will handle 28g loads but it`s ten years old and is nicely loosened up. A friend has the same model gun of the same vintage and his won`t cycle them reliably.

When you`re using one of these guns right on the lower boundary of operating forces it can even come down to how you hold the gun. I can use my mates gun and it`ll work fine for me, but he seems to ride the recoil just enough for the gun not to want to cycle.

Probably not what you want to hear. I can only suggest that you give one a try and see what happens.
