New lamp needed!

Right gents after years of use my battery pack for my lamp has stopped charging.

It's the old sealed lead type.

So I need to buy something either a new battery or a whole new lamp.

Iv been shown a hand held rechargeable led lamp no separate battery!

But I wasn't keen on the tight beam it seemed to spook bunnies.

But I like the idea.

Can any one suggest a good lamp?

Sounds daft but I don't need something super bright, and I like using a red filter.

Anyone suggest owt?

Cheers

Buffalo River do a neat one. 2.5 hours continuous from 1 charge, so they claim.

i had a buffalo river lamp with a little battery pack you could put on your belt.

The battery pack seemed good but i never really used it much because the lamp was a P O S I Will never touch another one

Hmmmmmmm food for thought

What's an mm800? Iv googled it and can't find nowt.

Iv got a deben tracer scope mounted lamp and a clulite blazer light hand held lamp any suggestions on what they are worth ?

I'll try and flog them to buy a new one

Best lamp ever, not cheap though,or go for a T67,bulky but comes somewhere near and quarter of the price. But NM800 everytime for me personally.

+1 on the NM800. Pricey but well worth it imo. I was in the same boat as you. Looking for a scope mountable light as was sick of heaving a lead acid battery pack and leads around. Best thing i ever did getting the NM800. Go for the dimable version though :good:

The likes of the T20 or T67 or whatever are all fairly small torches with huge range. Can be mounted to scope - or hand held.

Best thing is you can keep several spare batteries in your pocket... and when your not using the torch, itl fit in a pocket too!

LED lights and Li-ion batteries are deffo the way to go, no matter what you buy.
