Katash
Hi, Looking to get back into clay shooting and was wondering if anyone has contact details for clubs in the Hereford area, currently shooting occasionally at Griffin-Lloyd but looking for somewhere a bit more local. Thanks
Andy_Roo
Hi Katash, Have you ever been to Park Farm? Just north of Worcester near Omberlsey (I shoot both quite often). You can find them on any search engine under Park Farm Shooting. There's also South Worcester Shooting Ground, never been but have heard it's okay. I'm sure a quick hour on the net will drum up more. Katash
Hmmm .... Was looking more for local "Sunday morning shoots" really, have been told of one near Fir Tree Landrover garage but dont know where or any contact details, also about 20 years ago I went to Allensmore club but thats moved somewhere apparently - again cant find the details. Internet only seems to list details for business type grounds and info on informal clubs seems hard to come by.
Mr Potter
Try asking in any or all local gun shops. They might have adverts up or will just know where the local straw balers are. Mr Potter Edited November 26, 2015 by Mr Potter
welshwarrior
The only straw baler I really knew in the area stopped when the lad that ran it died. If your still struggling give me a shout I'll ask around.

SidneyG
Crasswall Clay club? Four seasons I think its called in Madley... ill try and find a number for you... If you don't already its worth keeping an eye on this website: http://welshbordershooting.synthasite.com Im a regular at Griffin, can't go far wrong there! Park farm really good too. There is a little sporting club that meets here on a disused railway line of ours (Eardisley) 'Tram Inn Clay shooting club', don't know the dates but I have a phone number if you PM me. oldfarmer
Katash, When poor old Cutter died it seemed to throw the co-ordination of the Herefordshire clay clubs out of kilter a little. I know that several of the clubs have had to change location over the last couple of years and a couple have amalgamated. As we are only a couple of miles over the border from Herefordshire we get lots of the shooters form that side of the Malvern's coming to shoot at the ground when their grounds are not open or when they are looking for somewhere else to go which isn't too far away. I think Aconburyn and Checkley are still going but don't have contacts to hand. Several of them were down here yesterday. Next time they are here I will get some contacts for you. Pop into Philip Morrises or R&B sporting in Ross - I am sure they would be able to help. In the mean time have a look at my web site for times when we are open over Christmas. www.southworcestershootingground.co.uk We are only 35 - 40 minutes from Hereford - but watch out for the speed cameras in Welland! You will be most welcome. John
