Underdog
Friday started at first light, Jess and I out in the woods with flint and shot. Jess has started to bolt rabbits well but I failed to connect except for one, one with myxy :-(. 7 hours later we went home, empty handed again. U. Underdog
Later the same day my friend came around to hunt fox. Eight we saw, missed one and another in thick maize stubble. We did get this little vixen I have been seeing regular, I threw some dog biscuits earlier;-). 150 paces. U.

fenboy
I think you may be missing those rabbits due to keeping both eyes closed judging by the fox photos
Underdog
Thanks Mike, the musket was still loaded from Friday. I dumped the pan a stuck a thorn in the touch hole but was anxious to unload it this morning. I let the dogs work some rabbit. The unorthodox retrieve!
