What rifles would you consider to be roughly on par with the rapids?

You sure your chrono isn't stuck haha

Seriously though, I find that hard to believe. The second part about all 4 not going over when running 11.6/7

After doing lots of chrono testing I was amazed at what different weight pellets do. I've got 4 PCP guns.

Sometimes the most efficient pellet is not the heaviest, all to do with design, casting, sometimes even different moulds of the same pellet will produce quite sharp rises or falls in ft lb!

totally correct mole,, I have found that the softer the skirt the higher the readings, also pellet head size makes a difference,

my comp pellets are all weighed and sorted into tins to be extra sure everything is the same, although weight is a big issue and can certainly change some rifles to a higher ftlb it doesn,t happen with All rifles , but it is best to be on the safe side I must admit

Spot on. Pellet weight is only one factor in muzzle energy. Bis mags in my rifle put out less than AA field. I did a test with an ebay test pack selection and the muzzle energy varied enormously and there was little correlation with weight.
