Yorkshire Terrier - haha, doubt it would retrieve anything much though.

Apparently Poodles can make ok gun dogs...

The std poodle (big one) started out as a wildfowling dog. I think you might have more luck with training a lab though maybe even a PIG they are also said to be capable and with a great nose being basically pretty bald should suit just fine :good:

Kerry blue terriers do not shed hair or cast their coats , poodles dont either labradoodles why pay good money for a crossbreed that is not guaranteed as to whether or not it will hold its coat , when theres pedigree dogs out there. and as for COCKER BOY saying that all dogs cast their coats and shed hair hes talking a load of rubbish

Are you saying a dog dies with the exact same coat it was born with ?. Surely you can't be saying that?

Haha! just been showing the kids pictures of cockerpoo's they look like ewoks! But have potential! Daft money for them I think and waiting lists for puppy's!

The problem with these fashionable mongrels is you never quite know what you are going to get. They seem to vary a lot between characteristics and not get an equal mix from the parents. Some seem to be more cocker and some more poo, your main issue will be if you get one with less poo then you might end up having to re home it.

In this case I'd be looking more to a rescue dog/ older one than a puppy so that you can check it's not going to cause problems.

Get it as a pet first and see about the shooting later on
