Cheers Chaps... This is what amazes me with PW. Brilliant , interesting relies to a Question.

I'd be forever quoting everyone's reply...

I've been after a decent White MGB GT for over the last 6years, Last week I was offered a 1969 MGB GT. White , one owner from new with a massive documented history.

Genuine 38000. Miles £4500. Looks as good as I've typed.

The original owner didn't bother with the optional white wheels, so running rostyles . only option they selected was the 3 speed auto box, which now is quite rare ???

Needs rear shocks and leaf springs etc renewing. Rostyles I hate... £490 for repro minilites with tyres.

Carpet set needed to tidy interior.

Better than £4500 in an ISA ???

Opinions please :)

Sounds like a very decent example, I have no idea about value - this should give you an indication of what they are selling for, or being advertised for

THats a good future classic rodp

Probably is, well, certainly is. I've bought it however because I like them. I've had the new Range Rovers (long time ago now) and the new cars but to be honest they just don't interest me. I want as little electronics as possible and simple. The 300 Disco is a nice comfortable motor and plenty quick enough for me.

ABS has already been disconnected, will be removed completely shortly along with the cat and egr. Cat and abs were option / not compulsory on this model / year so it's less to go wrong :good:
