Outlander

I run a 2011 61 plate Mitsubishi Outlander

Mines the 4Work model. No rear seats , level carpeted floor , that of a van layout.

Looks identical to the Car version

Mine has the Mitsubishi 2.3 diesel . 174 bhp. I'm sure the 08/09 were a 2.0 diesel , I'm sure I read somewhere that the 2.0 is a VW engine ?

4WD is selectable 2WD 4WD 4WD Diff Lock.

Fine off road , tracks, gravel , mud etc. Coped easily in last years snow.

Remember when you select 4WD it can be driven in that mode on any surface without worry of transmission windup.

Servicing on my Year/Model is every 9500 miles.

Diffs are serviced alternate services if that makes sense?

45 - 55 mpg in 2WD.

Hi Ewan.

Can understand your MPG worries as I do similar round trip to where I contract.

Can't say what the 2.0 litre is like , guess its similar.

Worst I get is late 30s in 4WD

Best ever mpg is driving like miss daisy below 60 was 58mph on computer.

On a 800+ mile run to Devon and Cornwall last year hols I averaged 48mpg in real life, tank fill ups to empty etc. Driving on motorway at 50 through roadworks to Max of 70 ish ;).

No silly speeds
