Going over to the dark side

Good evening Gentlemen!!!

After much thought and deliberation I've decided to enter the 21st century and sell my entire collection of HW springers and convert to PCP.

Why you might ask?

Well I simply do not have the time in my current lifestyle to keep my technique up to the standards that these fantastic rifles deserve. They have served me well, but now it's time for them to find a new home to retire to, where someone with dedication can give them the love and attention they need.

There's no going back now - PCP here I come!!!

what way do you mean that fenny?

your gay :friends: so that's why you understand him

or its wrong to change and move in to the modern times

taking shot after shot in silence with out the need for all that straining and 12-14 pellets all loaded at home in the light and not trying to feel where the hole is :)

You obviously shoot a PCP so would not understand  and yes I am gay , but only on a Tuesday and Wednesday :good:

where do you live again? :friends:

and yes I am a pcp`er

but I also have a gamo magnum in the loft .22 break barrel

and just started a thread trying to find an old break barrel I used to own

To be fair I did mention him swapping quality springers , if I had the choice of a gamo magnum or PCP I would be very tempted to go PCP too

Reaper,, before underdog has a heart attack and fenboy has another gay relationship with myself on a Friday,,, can I ask "WHICH " pcp you are looking at buying

totally agree with Dekers ,, you wont regret getting a PCP mate but don't go for a cheap and cheerful one ,

underdog only has a springer because he likes to live in the 80,s , he thinks he is Boy George on steroids but doesn,t like admitting he,s had a threesome with me and Fenboy

if you own a HW80 my advice would be keep it to use also, but without doubt pcp is the way forward for numerous reasons so don't let people put you off buddy

Totally agree with Evo, be prepared to spend big money and you'll never look back, buy a cheapie and you'll regret it and wonder why anyone prefers springers .

Although it should be said that you don't have to spend a fortune if you buy a quality rifle second hand.

As he has a 'collection' of tuned rifles, my opinion is go for a quality PCP but keep 1 good springer.

FINE!

Do what you want!

It's not like you ever consider our feelings.....

Truthful if it suits your shooting get one, as advised get a good one but keep your favourite boinger if only to put a smile on your face when you plink all day with nowt more than a tin of pellets and some spinners required.
