I have an old Westlake springer pistol. Does a breakneck 261.1 FPS.

Also have a Daisy Powerline 717 that does 381fps to 390fps bit that's a single stroke pneumatic pistol.

Had a crossman .22 multi pump a while ago I wish i still had now. The Westlake is pretty much as new, but think the piston seal has dried out and is not creating a good seal any longer!

The Daisy I had to restore as it was in a sorry state! It wouldn't hold pressure and was held together with wood screws. I had a Westlake when I was a lot younger, and it was quite impressive in the garden dispatching bottles and cans. The Daisy was also used in the garden on old china and was fab! Never either on quarry as they were not up to it.

A friend bought a HW45 and took out a crow at 15 yards with it. I could never afford one though hence the Crossman instead

I have the smk xs26 something or other. It's .22 and there about 5-5.5ftlbs. Quite accurate enough to 10 yards or so and reminds me rather a lot of the bsa scorpion pistol of old.

It was £50 new and has provided hours of fun plinking in the garden. About 1 inch groups at 10 yards are common and tins cans aren't safe at 30 where it will go through both sides with ease.

That look like a nice pistol. Hmm, maybe when I am on my feet again I may opt for one of those :D

Oops, I boobood. It was an SMK 32.

A good friend picked it up for me, youngratter.

It's OK, I did some trigger work and it is better but still way off ideal!

The foresight has come off the barrel which actually was handy!

It allowed me to finish the crown with some gentle polishing which seemed to help grouping.

The big issue was the drooped barrel maxing out the sight elevation!

Good old stainless tube and that old forked apple tree down the garden soon fixed that ;-).

No tin can is safe from it to 15yds and with light pellets it just about holes the can on one side (soup can).

It certainly eats pellets! Need to find cheap pellets now!

I have an old Webley premier in .22 that I chronoed at just shy of 5 ft/lb. Pretty accurate too.

That's great Bb,Probably running as efficient as a Webbo can  They normally do around 3.5ft lbs good.gif.pagespeed.ce.PoYRIVsMjL.gif

I love the old Webley pistols and the Premier is the top of the heap

Cheers, John :)
