belly47 Posted February 1, 2016 Report Share Posted February 1, 2016 (edited) Whilst on my way to do a little roost shooting today I witnessed a pigeon come off second best to a sparrowhawk.(hope my identification is correct,apologies to anyone ready to slate me if I'm wrong) I was just making a right turn and saw it off in the field on top of the pigeon. I stopped and grabbed my phone and it took flight and circled around its prey and very briefly landed in a nearby tree, before circling once more. I only managed to get a very brief clip of it before an impatient 4x4 appeared being me, making me move on. Was fascinating to see in the flesh.
