Not sure which section this should go in - but - as most folk that I know would read this section.

My 18 month old Labrador "Inca" died suddenly at 06:00 this morning. She was led down, no sign of being ill and just let out an excruciating howl. I got to her almost as the howl ended but it was obvious very quickly that she was gone.

Just cannot believe it.

Will keep some good memories of her - just finished her first shooting season, retrieved Ducks from the Nene and the Ouse Washes, 2 Pinks from Andersons Creek plus numerous Pheasants.

******** - just does not seem fair to go so young.

No idea what the cause was. Still undecided whether to take her to the Vets for a PM or just bury her in the wood at the back of the house.

****** it all then

Not good news. My commiserations.

We dog owners are all different when it comes to burying our dogs. When mine go I wrap them in my favourite shooting jackets and bury them in a place with happy memories of the dog and I.

I am not at all sure about asking a vet to do a post mortem.
