Really sorry to hear this. Unfortunately it happens to dogs every now and then. We lost a police dog very suddenly after a training session, we found out later from a PM that it was a twisted gut.

 

In my very humble opinion I would get the vet to have a look see. Then you or the breeder may learn from the sad loss, sometimes it just happens.

Sorry to hear that. It's bad enough when it's an old dog..

 

Obviously it's too late but I would have had a PM done just to see if it was a genetic condition or some kind of toxin/poison that could affect my other dogs ect. I'm a vet myself and maybe have a different mind set but I can also appreciate you wanting to have the dog buried rather than further investigations.

 

Regardless it's a horrible thing to happen
