For those of you who like a good read, I can recommend Phil Fussell's new book 'The Sportsman' talks about his youth and early years pigeon shooting. Page 30 alone is useful to the Newbie.

Not a Pigeon shooting book as such , just a good read about a loveable rogue who just happens to be a good shot, a good friend and mentor of George Digweed , Phil recommends travelling light , using Fieldcraft and guile and sitting down to shoot. George in this months Field magazine recommends always standing up to shoot and gadgets.

We all know what Digweed knows about pigeon shooting ! ****** all , he can't even shoot straight, just like that other super hero Andy Crow, and you can tell them both what I said.:lol:
