Scottish Funday 6

I have had a chat with Andrew Case at forest experiences, basically he can accommodate anything we want, flushes, sporting etc, it's a pretty big place so we have loads of options.

They don't do food, I suggested we might bring a box of pies down or something for lunch and he can sort us out with teas/coffee etc

It's basically 30p a clay irrespective of sportin or flushes which is what we discussed on Sunday

How would the 9th of April suit everyone, is this to early? The rest of April is a wipe out for me, if May is better please let me know your thoughts!

Sounds good to me, 30p a clay is just a wee bit more than the pay and play grounds and we get the luxury of being able to shoot whatever sort of targets we want.

Also happy to go with a box of pies, or if the weather is sound maybe even the possibility of using a gas grill and knocking up burgers, etc so long as no objection to doing that on the grounds.

as i said to johnny on sunday my funds are limited. Clays, cartridges, fuel and chuck make it a £60.oo plus day.

I,ve never shot this venue so would like to have a go.

May suits better.Spring drilling would be over.

Im happy if 4 others want to link up at kilmarnock and travel with me.

I'd agree this one will be dearer than everywhere else, but if we can lay on lunch and combine fuel then we can save abit, for everyone involved.

BBQ would be a good idea, I can ask Andrew if that's ok! Do you have a gas grilled Graham? I have a charcoal one but I don't think that would be allowed as its in a pine plantation.

Gents, here is something, after the 9th I'm on holiday and pigeon shooting most of April,, most of May is out for Ewan, however the 9th seems to suit allot of people except for the clay ground! Should we switch grounds to north Ayrshire then shoot this later in the year? This is just a thought and sorry to throw this into the mix!
