SDP290GD-Marcus Posted March 31, 2016 Report Share Posted March 31, 2016 (edited) Hello, I am now in my late 50's and trying to rekindle my earlier passion for shooting, I just recently bought an "ould" Springer, a HW 80 in .22 caliber, in order to attempt so do. Since in my late teens early 20's I literally shot a Webley Osprey to bits, though my youthfull enthusiam in "tweeking" and re-springing, just might have had a wee bearing on her well-earned demise. Suppose I shoulda bought a Diana 52 really, in proper remembrance of the Osprey. Then I shot a .22LR lever action Winchester with a Weaver scope near as much. Never damm all guid with a Shotgun though. btw Since any air rifle in Northern Ireland is held on a FAC, at least any such future tweeking or tuning to the HW80 will NOT infringe any laws or legalities.
