New EU regulations bans the use of decoys!

Recommended Posts

The use of decoys to attract birds (pigeons, duck, geese, corvids) is to be banned under new EU regulations.

Anyone using decoys from 1st Sept 2016 will be liable to a fine of £5,000.

Where has this information come from? Where is a substantive link? Mind you the barmy thing is that the pigeon shooters out in Spain aren't allowed to use decoys but they use live birds either tethered to the ground or hoisted up from a platform up in a tree like a lofter then they flutter back down onto their platform.

Yep, it seems to be a true parallel with the rest of Europe.

See the link above, shocking news for us pigeon shooters.
