James1983
So went out to the car tonight and I forgot to lock it earlier so mirrors weren't folded in... Went to get in car and noticed the wingmirror cover was on the floor as someone has hit it (suspect the bus) but they have also managed to knock the indicator bulb free from its mount resulting in it falling into the indicator housing! Has anyone got any suggestions on any methods on how I can get the bulb out... I have been trying for over an hour now with the tweezers and also trying to shake it out! fenboy
You may have to smash the bulb with some long nosed pliers or suchlike .
James1983
Anyone know if the metal used as contacts is magnetic? If so might try one of them little magnet pens if I can find one to borrow tomorrow. If not smashing it is an option I considered but been from Yorkshire and tight wanna try get the bulb out in tact
wisdom
Bit of fine wire or a loop of fishing line.Should fit between the contact wire and glass bulb body and gently tease it out using gravity to assist you.
Marki
Put it upside down in a bucket of water and shake it gently. Blub is full of air and will float out of hole.* *I just made this up but seems legit ;-)
