Fox v badger

I was sitting up my tower last night waiting for a fox which had killed some geese the night before. I spotted one behind the wire fence which was very nervous and would not jump over so I could not get a shot.after 30 minutes along comes a badger it goes straight under the fence grabs a dead goose which I had left out and takes it back under the fence the fox jumps up chases the badger and a tug of war takes place with the goose. Don't know who won as they disappeared into the hedge. I wish I could have recorded it through my nightvision it would have made a brilliant video.

Anything with its head missing to me is prime reason to suspect a musalid

Just the same as a stoat bites the rabbit at the back of the neck the Badger kills it's " goose?"

Fox was pushing it's luck there - must have figured it could run faster with the prize than the Badger could without it. Fox v badger is a bit of a no contest toe to toe
