Zoli Game Guns

I have been out to the factory and shoot a custom Z-sport. Superb guns. You can get the Game in a fixed choke version. A lot of gun for not a lot of money for the game gun.

No the actions are not the same on each model, although all built on the same machines.

Many thanks for the input. Just so I have it right, in the Game range, choosing a more expensive model not only means a possible cosmetic improvement but also a superior action. Thanks too for the wink about the fixed choke.

Not quite - there are different models within each range - this for example http://shootingsports.edgarbrothers.com/pages/Game-Gun-Lux.aspx has the fixed and multi choke options but they are all on the same action (Which are all CNC made from one solid block)

The "special game" is on a different action block http://shootingsports.edgarbrothers.com/pages/Special-Game-.aspx

The full UK range http://shootingsports.edgarbrothers.com/pages/Game-Guns.aspx

Plus now there are the round bodied pernice too :-)

If you need to know more, drop me a PM with your number.

Well, patience is rewarded at last. This is when it all started. The order was placed this time last year and I was given one for that Christmas. I can't use it just at the moment anyway but it is now in Leicestershire and I'll get it in the new year, but the photo's are looking good. Worth the wait? Oh, yes! :yahoo:

The short answer is yes

they learnt a lot from the EJ Churchill Coronet that Zoli built and not the standard game is based off this stock shapes balance etc.  It’s a gun with very few vices and like by most people who shoot it.  I’ve a few clients using the Zoli now they love them as game guns that can double up for clay.  You can have fixed chokes as well if you like.

Thinking of a 20 bore for myself next year.

Finally got my sticky little fingers on it - a 12 bore Game. Although it obviously needs checking, I'm going to be very surprised if it doesn't fit spot on out of the box as it most certainly seems to. Quite like the engraving, not the usual game scene:

I like that engraving. Better than a lot of game scenes. Anymore pics of stock etc ?

To be honest, it's only some of the engraving that's worthy of note; all else is pretty much bog standard. Although they came cased as opposed to the cardboard box currently on offer. I'm not into multi chokes and the dimensions I got from the barrels and the 4 chokes supplied is such that a couple of Teagues might just be an option if I can't perm the two that I prefer from  those supplied.
