Anyone know what length the barrel should be on the above and were they factory screw cut for a moderator?

The one I've recently bought is threaded with a length of 7-7/16", breech to muzzle.

It's got a few grub screw marks on the barrel which makes me think its had a few different types of moderators fitted over the years then screw cut, 1/2"UNF.

Any information you've got on this model will be appreciated.

The taunus was available in ultra carbine to order, so that would be fitted with a fenman barrel like yours, and was also available with longer barrels and also bull barrels so it's not an easy question to answer really. They weren't screw cut though.

Thanks for your reply, I wasn't sure on the screw cut as it came with a weihrauch mod and the crown looks very well finished.

It still has good power but has been well used but not looked after, the bluing is very thin all over and when I removed the stock the trigger mech was caked in crud.

The wood should come up good with a bit of work.

Probably the original crown and just been screw cut.

I have a Taunus that i will be putting up for sale in a few days, it has has a crack in the stock that has been repaired but apart from that it is pretty good.
