Inspired By Winchester Dave - Wildlife on a Rangefinder

Spent my usual Wednesday afternoon street shooting in Stratford upon Avon but nothing much about except for Japanese tourists with selfie sticks on every corner. I thought I would get off the high street and have a mooch down by the river to see if anything was happening down there. I came across a few birds that i had to tease into position with half a pasty and took inspiration from Winchester Dave (aka The Bird Man) . As I only shoot in Black and White I had to setup the camera and managed to bang these off. Not really setup for wildlife with a fixed 35mm lens and manual focus I was virtually on top of them at one point. Note to self, don't go sticking your camera so close to swans in future, hissing is not smiling.
