hiya guys ,

a few pics that ive been meaning to put up for ages , a few more are still to come when its finished.

i wanted to make a highseat that could take two shooters , and was more comfortable than a normal highseat . its positioned near to a release pen on one of my permissions , i still need to add the camo netting that was kindly donated by tightchoke , the plastic/pvc for the hide cover was kindly donated by rodp , and the hide was sewn together by my good lady , the scaffold tower was given to me by a mate. ill be dragging a couple of chairs up there when i find something suitable.

Arghhh! You've planted a seed now.

Looking good there. Waiting to see what you do with the inside.

the inside will be very basic , just a couple of garden chairs and a flask and sarnies , i did think about a solar panel to keep a battery charged for a lamp , itll just make life a little more comfortable when im keeping an eye on the poults for the syndicate.

the pics from this morning , its pretty much ready to use now , i just need to remove a branch that is blocking the view to the left , ill also be running a bait station , you can see where its going in the middle of the pic from up the highseat.

I love a scrap heap challenge.

Give some consideration to the wind loading as the PVC sheets will act as sails.

webber

that did worry me a little bit , the scaffold tower itself has tubes (very heavy gauge , im guessing steel gas pipe)knocked through the bottom tier with a sledge hammer and approximately four feet into the ground , the tower is also fastened together with tech screws , i then hammered proper scaffold tubes into the ground around three feet , and fastened ratchet straps from them to the tower , im hoping that its enough as im not at my best with heights :unhappy: .
