Back to being serious again.... I shoot slugs with improved modified so quite a tight choke but it works fine with Benekke 'rifled' style slugs. Guest cookoff013 Posted August 5, 2016 Report Share Posted August 5, 2016 if anyone has slug on ticket, and wants to do some development ? i do not have slug on ticket, but i could help try and set up load ladders for development and have the ticket holder take them to birmingham. i think A1 could be a real good winner for most "standard slugs" like the lee.... Well, you can get “slug” barrels for most pump and semi auto shotguns. Not sure on the changing characteristics of slugs with weight. If you use Lee slugs, there seems to be a camp that says the 7/8oz slugs are more stable than the 1oz due to weight distribution… Scrummy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
