Puppy Chews

I've a 12 week old cocker who likes to chew. Wife has bought all sorts of chew toys The original soft chew toys were in bits within days and the teething ring type stuff offers little interest. She'd much rather chew bark, twigs, sticks and logs. Sprayed the log pile with dog deterrent spray from Aldi and she tried to lick the stuff off.

She likes the hide sticks but always wary she'll choke on the things. Thought about a juicy bone I went to a pet shop to buy a 'postman's leg' only to be told it'd be too rich for her. Instead tried to sell me a £15 piece of antler.

Any advice on what would be suitable for a puppy, that she'd enjoy and distract her from chewing less suitable materials?

Here's a pic from Saturday. First family walk to the beach. Absolutely loved the water and took a keen interest in the seagulls.

Our lot get cow leg bones to chew. I cook them on at 150C for a couple of hours otherwise they go off very quickly in this heat.

Also the larger size nyla puppy bones with chicken flavour are popular with some of them as they are more chewable than the harder adult ones, but still last well.

The hide chews ae Ok, but be wary of the ones with a knot either end. If they chew the middle out they are left with to chunky end pieces they could choke on.
