harrycatcat1 Posted August 3, 2016 Report Share Posted August 3, 2016 (edited) I went to skegvegas for a couple of days last Sunday and whilst playing on the beach with the granddaughters a chap was fishing off the beach and he pulled at least 6 or 7 smoothhounds (if thats what you call them) in an hour. I am not a fisherman but I thought it was good going. They were about 18" to 2' in length on average and one of them bigger. The next day on the same beach a chap was using a bait pump and he was good at using it as he got a dozen or so worms in no time at all, we only caught a few little crabs out of a pool. Now looking for a cheap bait pump to entertain the granddaughters if anyone has one around town. I can then take a rod with me next time.
