I paid £99 up front for vaccines for life, but this doesn't include kennel cough, which is £20.

Depends on the flea treatment, if it's bravecto then I pay £90 a year for 4 treatment (each one lasts 3 months) so basically you would be spreading the cost out over the year.

I signed up for this and somehow I do not feel I have value for money. I have to do all of the chasing for the flea and worm treatments and for fixing up the health checks.

I will not be renewing it when my current agreement expires.

Believe it or not there are many professionals who will tell you that vaccinations for life are nothing more than a.money spinner for vets, after the first ones the protection remains for life, flea and worming is a lot cheaper if you DIY and depending on the amount of Contact with other animals regular de Fleaing may be unnecessary, remember all these chemical cocktails aren't good and should only be used when needed not as a way of paying the vets second mortgage

Boosters are worth it if you have your dog insured as it does seem to be a question they ask come claim time.

Flea and worm treatments personally I buy online as and when needed. These schemes help vets cash flow that is why they plug them it's great if you get a few hundred clients signed up.

Lost my best pal black lab to cancer yesterday make sure you have good pet insurance. I have spent close on £4000 on treatment for her and worth every penny and all claimed back through insurance. Loved my dog but did not want to see her suffer as the cancer took hold and chemo was having little effect. Got 12 months of extra time with her and good quality of life. RIP Megan Rose I will miss you.
