fruity Posted August 13, 2016 Report Share Posted August 13, 2016 Hi all its been a while. Finally got an evening out with the NV/.22. Unfortunately the nights are drawing in already. My mate decided to bring his two cockers to work them under the nv picking up. I have never used dogs for night use, but they were worth the weight in gold working hard and faultlessly retrieving every kill, If anything I let them down with a few misses/rushed shots. A lovely evening out with plenty of cloud cover and a good breeze. We could of gone on all night but decided to call it a night around 12 and have a quick scan on the way home for a Fox to be rewarded with a nice solid thump from the cf to finish the night off . I've always picked by hand.
