Footu Posted August 15, 2016 Report Share Posted August 15, 2016 10 anniversary, looking for a cottage, a beach to walk the dog. Good views, maybe a bit of beachcasting or off the rocks. Any ideas? robbiep Posted August 15, 2016 Report Share Posted August 15, 2016 No beach, but I know a fantastic cottage in the Rothiemurchus forest, about 10-15 miles from Aviemore, a couple of miles from Boat of Garten / Nethybridge. Quiet, red squirrels on the feeders, red deer in the garden - we've even seen a scottish wildcat a couple of hundred yards away from the house on one occasion. Sadly after the salmon season has finished, the Spey is a couple of miles away. Give me a shout if interested, and I'll find details of it for you to have a look.
