Well i think as i suspected if you look at the views here and just two of you, we can safely presume single barrels are just a part of history now. I dare say many still have them taking up cabinet space but few still use them very often if ever.

I use my Greener GP fairly often, for a quick mooch up the shoot with a pocket of Alphamax 3's during feeding the pens in case of fox. Sometimes take it decoying as a back up, and also something different to shoot clays

very light and pointable. Really enjoy it.

I often use a single fourten in the woods, shot many a squirrel with it. It's got it's limitations obviously, but it's just like carrying a stick, it's so thin and light. Very often I find myself under gunned with it though, and I've had to pass up on opportunities that I could have taken with a bigger gun as I don't rate it's performance past twenty odd yards. That said, I enjoy using it..... mostly.

Anybody ever wants a greener single for spares let me know, it's ring bulged ,not be used for many years , it will be free of charge.

As per usual Pigeonwatch,s most used sentence,,,wish you were closer... or i would have put my name forward for this but it does not warrant the

RFD fees .

Mainly used for despatch I snares /cage traps

Also use them to test fire home / new loads in to gauge the recoil/noise level / pattern consistently

Early season when the hunger is high and the pinks are fresh in, I'll use my SP10 ....

Once I have a couple in the bag, I go to my single 8 ....... I don't need huge amounts of dead geese, and this is a nice way to still get out and fold the odd one up without putting over pressure on the freezer. I always have a smile on my face leaving the marsh .... even more when I have success with the big old gun.
