Great shooting Norman .... you're in form!!

The UT GP was an experience ..... booking in behind Ian Peel, then seeing Ed Ling walk past showed the class of the field.

Some amazing shooting, with Ed only managing 3rd after a 195, and Aaron from up the road shooting 100 straight on the second day to force a shoot off with Nathan Hales on 196.

Only the second time I had shot it, and a 90 on day 1 hid a lot of 2nd barrels, and the fact I wasn't truly at ease with them. 82 on day 2 with a dodgy 18 in the middle of it meant 4th in class .... but learned a lot. Will probably not book into another one like this after getting a lab pup 2 days before ..... sleep helps in this type of discipline I think!! The little fella slept through last night so we're heading in he right direction (he has had his breakfast and now lays on top of my feet).

well done smoker !!

Well shot today Steve - sorry I didn't put up a fight but the weekend had drained me 600 targets in 5 days is maybe just a tad to much for an old man ;)

old man my a55 , there is still life in the old dog yet , I know only too well

Thanks gents, certainly had a tailwind this year.

I got back into clays hoping to get some experience under the belt, and then in a couple of years be in a position to get my name on some of the trophies my father won back in the day ... didn't expect it to be three in the 1st year! He has and always will be my hero, and making him proud means a lot to me.
