Changing address, do my shotguns have to move too?

Looking to move into my girlfriends soon. My guns are currently at home, where they and I have been for about 17 years. However, this is my family home and where my Dad lives and also where my business is based, so I'm there most days.

 

When I move and change the address on my cert, will I have to take my guns to my o/h's too? Or will I be able to leave them where they are? Obviously it's only me who has access to them.

 

Will try and speak to somebody at FL next week but just thought I'd sound it out here.

That would be good. Still need to inform them that my residential address will change though? Guess this will be the address they will put on the replacement cert?

I did exactly the same. Cert was updated in a couple of days with my new living address, guns left at my parents

just keep the keys with you, and it should be fine.

Only recently done change of address for mine, FEO was happy that as I work 15 hour days at my parents place the guns were fine there unless I wanted to move them to the new address.
