After a very poor start on the pigeons and crows this year we had a very kind invite from a PW member on one of his permissions.

what a fantastic location with full view of the Snowdonia mountains in the background, proper picture postcard stuff.

we were escorted mid day to a field of fresh wheat stubble told were to set up and left too it.

he had picked a cracking spot under an overhanging tree for the hide which was perfect for the keen eyed crows.

plenty of birds about with many trying to come in as we set up the decoys things were looking good.

was a lovely day with not a breath of wind so i was a bit worried that the first shot would see em all clear off.

luckily was not the case and we had a steady stream of crows with the odd challenging pigeon thrown in.

as the afternoon progressed some great left & rights saw the bag begin too grow.

picked up at 5pm with 128 on the clicker many lost in the thick cover behind, what a cracking day.

best bag ever for us.

good company and a very memorable day, many thanks

Remimax tell me have you lost weight or is that Neanderthal man next to you and does he shoot a four bore.

no i'm as scrawny as ever EW he's just a big'un :).

agreed he could do with a bigger shooting pipe but then id just be along as a clicker/spectator so don't give him any ideas.
