Guest Posted September 16, 2016 Report Share Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) Waited patiently for a fox this morning, watching the side of a hill it uses most mornings. Eventually picked him up trotting along the bottom of the hill where he never goes! Anyway, readjusted and quickly took the shot but bloody missed! One of those things. My question: is that it blown now, or do foxes normally settle back into their routine if I left it a while? Say a few days to a week. Too hasty. If we shoot enough we all do it. Don't give up on that fox. Maybe give it 48hrs and then set up your ambush once more. Obviously if you squeaked him, don't this time, other than to stop him immediately before you squeeze one off.
