Just a quick one to say a big thank you to Oldypigeonpopper for taking me out to have a bash at the pigeons last Saturday. I had an absolute blast (pun intended) with his A612 shooting 7.5 28grams out of a 1/2" choke.

I managed 15 down, but only 10 picked as the rest were lost to hedges, bushes and long grass. I think I'm starting to get the hang of this though!

Thanks Oldypigeonpopper!

hello, thanks for all your comments, i am no expect but over years have learnt the basics, was only a ragged flight line but with a few deeks on some old stubble gave some good shots for andy using the semi in fact he has used it more than me, i just like to watch and drink tea or act as look out, yes a few were lost most behind on another field not his perm, as stated was using half choke with 7.5s but going to try full choke in the armsan which will hope tighten pattern to either get a good kill or fly off in haste.yes i think another life long pigeon shooter in the making, it has never been about big bags for me but the love of being out getting a few shots and looking at the wildlife.
