The problem with tuning CO2's close to the 12 ft-lb limit is that, as written above, the power of the gun is significantly affected by the outside temperature, so that a gun, shooting at 11 ft-lbs on a cold day, may well put you over 12 ft-lbs on a warm day, and thus in very serious do-dos if you are not an FAC holder.

 

I would suggest that you chronograph it to check the power now to see what you have already got before you attempt to tune it, and as written above, tap into the Chinese air-gun forum.

 

If you do go ahead, the power increase engineering isn't difficult - they are easy guns to strip down - and you can also take the opportunity to polish up the rough trigger parts to improve your shooting experience.
