Tack the seam together with a blob of superglue every 1/2" or so......then cover the whole area generously around and on the split with a thick splurge of Stormsure (or Aquasure) the intended repair site must be laid flat as the stormsure will run and find its own level if you don't!..........when stormsure is nearly dry (tacky) sprinkle with sand.....leave overnight to set!

unsightly........but has worked for me!

As above, but do both sides, one at a time, minus the sand on the inside.
