Diesel on car seat how to remove

Filling the courtesy car up to the max as that was their request, getting picked up tomorrow at 3.

Went to station, pump clicked and I always do another few squirts to ensure it's full.

Got in the car, digital dial saidnit wasn't full... so I thought I'd drive to see if it was a delay... it wasn't a delay it just didn't say it was full.

Went to second petrol station and the pump says minimum 5 litres delivery (I didn't know that was for the tankers filling the pump up!!)

The thing clicked off at 3 liters! So slowly started to fill it up at at 4.16L I felt something on my leg and it had completely over flowed on back of pants and now is on the seat...

Help.

good.gif.pagespeed.ce.PoYRIVsMjL.gif bicarb does a great job on odours good stuff .. Heres a good story for you.

A good friend of mine put some bicarb liberally spreading it all over on his back seat to mask the smell of dog vomit, the old bill stopped him late at night coming back from a foxing lamping night out.

Stopped him asked him the usual questions, where have you been, where are you going, have you been drinking etc...

And another copper seen all he white powder all over his back seat, he said have you indulged in any illegal drug activity lately sir??

No I certainly have not officer,Can you explain what the white powder is then??

He explained the substance and what it was for, only for him to be kept for 2 hours while the located the drug sniffing dog ??? ???

Anyway it came had a sniff ,was not interested, but then we he got home found 8 coppers insdee his house ,doing a search

So becareful if you use it :good: :good:

So did you get it out?

:shaun:

On the evening of the post I went for the warm water/fairly liquid option... and a lot of it out of sheer desperation really... I then found a bottle of 'upholstery cleaner/stain remover/ deodoriser' in the cupboard of many things.... liberal application of both!

When sitting in the car, the small has gone, you can't see the patch of diesel anymore either :good: if you place your nose directly on it you can smell but I don't think they check the car over in that much detail that they'll sniff every seat; unless they're in to that ****. ....

Again, cheers all! If it was still there I'd be on the hunt for bicarb :good:

If you ever need bicarbonate of soda its in the baking section in any large supermarket. Usually little white pots next to the baking powder.
