mick miller
Just an enquiry. I have a handful of Arktis stock pouches, these are quality bits of kit that fit onto your rifle stock. I also have a bunch of quality li-ion 12v batteries, these are the same as the ones I use in my nv builds, similar to Deben batteries and not to be mistaken with cheapo £15 ones off the bay. I have used the same two batteries in both my units for the last 4 years and they're still going! However, the batteries, currently, do not fit into the pouch. ******. I'm considering designing and printing an enclosure to fit the battery and which would be a snug fit into the stock pouch. The batteries have a charge level indicator, would come with a charger, and a quality 2.1dc lead with long tail (20-30cm) to incorporate into any build you want to make. I reckon about £40-50 posted, but clearly, there would need to be a bit of interest first.
Bobba
I use the 2" plastic parcel tape. Tight mount and no adhesive is left on the stock when you remove the battery. Cheap and cheerful. But then, I'm a pensioner.
mick miller
You just wrap it round the stock? Then cut it off after?
Bobba
Yes, exactly that. Being R/handed the battery is on the R/hand side of the stock. I start tape on Left hand side of stock to get tension for tight fit, then over top of stock and tape battery to stock and return under stock to start point. Not a work of art but then, it's not a fashion parade.

kevip001
I use a tube leg bandage on the stock to hold my battery for the nv, works fine and doubles up as a cheek warmer :-)
