Davyo Posted October 12, 2016 Report Share Posted October 12, 2016 (edited) Since stopping shooting las November the Jimny(my 2nd car) has only been used for fishing.Managed to get all the kit in but everything had to go in a certain way. However the road tax was over £200 and only getting about 28/32mls per gallon.I ordered a new boat so needed simething with a bit more grunt.Wasnt really bothered about style as long as it ticked the boxes.Thought about a small Van (ford connect size) but then realized that everywhere wanted VAT ontop of the screen price.So i ended up buying a Citreon C3 Picasso 1.6 hdi VTR +,ugley i know but it ticks all the boxes.£30 Road Tax,very comfortable and has a rear seat system that creates a totally flat surface and more room than i could hope for.Popped down to Wetherby today,set the cruise control bang on 60mph and averaged 68mpg.The big plus was,i got out without any aches and pains. Bought it private so,took out a 2yr warranty from Warranty Direct as ive had one from them before and its hassle free. BIG THANKYOU to TDS for mentioning the Picasso.
