What parrts do you need? Victor Sarasqueta were impported by Parker Hale way back and both have since gone down so it is highly unlikely that anyone has spares but there isnt much that cant be made for any gun if you have the knowledge, skill, tools and ability. or parts from another gun modified or converted. the problem with this is the base value against the labour cost to sort it out. What model have you got. EG boxlock or sidelock would be a start.

That bit doesn't look very nice. It looks more like a mangled up bit out of a lawnmower than a nice sidelock. Something like Fred made up his Garden shed. Give us a few more details of the gun. Barrel length, type of rib, ejector ect. Pictures of the gun would be great. I have a 6ec that I bought new in 1973 and it has been a reliable trouble free tool. Somewhere I have a Parker Hale catalogue with exploded parts drawings and lists. I'll see if I can find a picture of the lockwork.

The lock at the top is out of my 6ec. If the part in your picture is the hammer,it must have been released onto an empty chamber a lot of times and/or not tempered correctly. But it just looks so rough

Hammer swivel . doubt if you will get one "off the self" .The length is a critical factor so not always easy to just win one from an old lock . AyA swivels are one ended and fixed to the hammer with a through peg so one could be made to fit .Making one is not as easy as it may look so cost will come down to time but it can be done by any competent gunsmith .

The gun is a model 6EC denoting model 6 and ejector with the narrow Churchill rib. The front trigger is articulating and pivots forward so that you don't get a beaten finger when you fire the back trigger. If they hadn't have gotten into a sort of association of gun manufacturers (a bit like British Leyland/Rover) which collapsed they would probably still be making fine guns like AyA is.

Just to add to this particular shotgun my brother bought one of these in the mid 70s

For £130 new not sure of model 26 inched Churchill rib with the heavily engraving

Kicked like a mull he told me

He sold it in the 80s for what he paid for it In the 70s

I have one myself not sure of the model its a 26 inched sidelock ej

Churchill rib but not got the heavy engraving on it as in the pic

All done made one myself, couldn't wait the six months gunsmiths will take.

Took less than an hour

Well done. Happy sxs shooting. I have enjoyed shooting mine for a long time. I think that Victor Sarasqueta were underated. they were good enough to be imported by Parker hale and had a royal warrant to the king of Spain. it's a shame that they joined up in a sort of gumakers co operative and the whole lot went down the tube. a bit like British Leyland / Rover
