English
The Airsporter was the first "Adult" airgun I purchased with savings put by from my first few weeks as an apprentice, although I would have liked one in .177, I could never find one and in the end, settled for one in .22. I think you will probably struggle to get one in .177?
sishyplops
I bought one and to be honest I wish I hadn't, could not get it accurate enough so bought an HW 95k and never looked back, beware of those rose coloured spectacles
bumpy22
i think the mk6 was also the rb2 version if i remember correctly. it had a rotary breach like the superstar was released in the early 90s. always wanted one as my dad still has his mk1. saved up my pocket money and odd job money. ended up getting a hw97 only because i already had the greatest spring gun ever made the hw77. bought a stutzen a few years later from a local gunshop beautiful gun but did not shoot well. bruno22rf
bumpy22...the Stutzen was only made between 85-86 ( ET model code) and was a tap loader...then Gamo got it's ugly teeth into BSA and made the stutzen with a rotary breach (AZR model code). Rimfireboy
I bought one and to be honest I wish I hadn't, could not get it accurate enough so bought an HW 95k and never looked back, beware of those rose coloured spectacles I too haven't come across an airsporter that I'd call very accurate. As for .177 airsporters, I've only ever seen one, and that was about 35 years ago.. I think that they got by on their name and looks for many years, not on their performance, which is mediocre at best IMO. Not many run above ten ft lbs either in .22. Will be less in .177.
