He's a good diet but from time to time his breath kicks up rough. Teeth and gums are in good shape. Any suggestions as to what to try?? He wont take a Tik Tak or a Polo. fortune Posted November 2, 2016 Report Share Posted November 2, 2016 (edited) breath Sort of smell of ammonia / sort of rot fish and if you just put a very light touch in the small / kidney area of the back the dog will not resist , it will just sink to the ground and big appetite. = worms. Some bacterial infections in the mouth are not easily detected. Do you clean your dogs teeth at all either manually or by giving him a dental chew.
