scolopax Posted November 3, 2016 Report Share Posted November 3, 2016 For the first time I am letting a day for five standing guns (full team) on my farm type shoot very close to Beverley, East yorkshire. Saturday 19th November the day will consist of a series of short drives for pheasant and possibly partridge, mainly from woodland. No ducks. The land in predominantly flat and the shoot covers 400+ acres. Due to the fact there are few internal tracks there can be a fair amount of walking involved to get to pegs. Lunch is taken in a barn with the beaters. Anticipated bag is 25- 30 birds and the price will be £25 per bird, so in the region of £150 per gun.
