I`ve had one for the last 10 years.

I don`t do much high goose shooting and I`m not a very good shot so dinner- plate- sized-patterns-at-60-yards, as are obtainable with some after market tight chokes would be wasted on me.

For me,the factory half choke does everything that I want from it on the foreshore.

I`ve patterned a number of after market chokes and, although I am fully convinced that some can produce spectacularly tight patterns with steel shot, I really can`t see any improvement in the actual shot pattern over the factory chokes when using the more open bored ones.

There are many who would disagree.

Good luck with whatever you choose in the way of chokes. It`s a great way to spend money.
