birds have been on this old stubble for about 4 weeks now we shot 108 one sunday, then I had 30 the week after, didn;t shoot it last week but I went for a look today and there was a lot of birds on it I didn't hang around it was 12pm so just decided to set up where they was all feeding with my back to a hedge row, remembered to bring 2 dead birds with me so I could set the rotary up from the start I was set up and in the hide by 12.30 pm birds were in the decoys within minutes think I shot 20 in the first 30 mins it continued like that up to 2.30 when they started tailing off shot the last bird at 3pm then packed up with 3 trips across the field with the gear and dead birds it was a cracking afternoon finished with 76 on the clicker picked 68 woodies a feral which wasn't a racer and a crow which wasn't a racer either

Yup the black one is definitely a racer!! Looks quite at home with its mates!!

Good results Daz. I was chatting to a chap on the shoot Saturday and we both remember clearly, before this ludicrous mintilling, that old stubble would continue to give great pigeon shooting well into December.

Glad your getting some good outings
